Went to Maui a few weeks ago and took a ton of photos. Still trying to filter through them all. I’ll place them up as soon as I can. Until then, enjoy the one below!

Aloha and Mahalo…

I’ve re-added the Vancouver photos to the Photo Gallery. There’s a ton of ‘em. Looking at the photos makes me want to buy a plane ticket straight there. Esther and Joey are wonderful hosts and I should go visit them soon… Anyway, enjoy the new-old photos.

OK, so I was able to finally get the Photo Gallery online. I’ve added more albums since the last time it was up and running. Now I have to figure out this whole watermarking feature. Who knew that upkeeping a simple website could be so time consuming? Anyway, I can’t wait for Maui in early July! To see the photos form the last time I went to Maui, check out the Photo Gallery — I know, shameless plug. Aloha!

So I finally got the photos of my latest trips up on the site. Thanks to my colleague Cyril, I was able to get the photos up on my site after I hit a snag. I really think the Wordpress folks should hire him as a first line of technical support — although I couldn’t imagine he would leave his cush job at Disney. Hehe! Anyway, enjoy the new photos up in the gallery and don’t hurt yourself on the way out. Time to play some GTA4…

Had a couple of friends over for the holiday. It was pretty low-key. The food was awesome as well as the company. Everything was planned last minute, but the New Year’s Eve party was a success. As you can see from the photo above, I made a rib-eye roast. It rocked. Anyway, happy new year to everyone!

Today was a free day in New York. I woke up pretty late, but was able to get to Rockefeller Center around 11AM. It was busy, more so than I remember the last time I was there. There was ice skating and the Christmas tree was being worked on. It’s a HUGE tree! I proceeded to walk around Times Square to take in the sight. There is a lot of construction going on, as well as a lot of sensory overload… New York is definitely like Las Vegas without the casino aspect. I ended up spending most of my evening at Bryant Park watching even more ice skaters whiz by. The cool thing about ice skating at Bryant Park is that it is free. However the line was pretty long… Next time I’m here, I’m going to stand in line! Anyway, I’m headed back to California tomorrow. Can’t say that I miss California because I really enjoyed my stay here. The conferences were enlightening, and the location was equally engaging. I think I’m going to miss New York more than I have missed California. Strange. Below are some photos from my day…

Creative photography from my hotel window…

Being a typical tourist at Times Square.

Tree-lined walkways at Bryant Park. Love it.

Made it to day four here in New York… Today was pretty uneventful… My day started at 6am and didn’t stop. I’ve been in meetings all day and didn’t get to leave until late. Friday traffic in Manhattan (in the rain) is pretty crazy, but I don’t think it compares to Southern California traffic. The drivers seem pretty normal, but the taxi cab drivers are pretty crazy! For some reason, they only know red light and green light. Driving ethic goes out the window in a taxi. Anyway, after my meetings, I had dinner with some friends… Here are some photos…
Dinner at Houston’s.

I will attempt to stop this bus with my umbrella…
For tomorrow… I’m thinking the Natural History Museum, Rockefeller Center, Times Square — if it doesn’t rain too much. Grrr!
